**NEELYVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT TO BE CLOSED THURSDAY FOR SERVICES OF TONY EAKINS**

The Neelyville R-4 School District will not be holding classes on Thursday.

Superintendent Heather Black tells KWOC News that classes have been cancelled so students, faculty, and staff can attend the services of Tony Eakins, who passed away this week.

Eakins had served a variety of roles for the School District since 1999, including as a mechanic, a bus driver, and also helping with summer maintenance.

Black added that Eakins was a wonderful asset to the District and leaves a great legacy in the Neelyville R-4 school family.

This 1995 Ford F350 is just too nice to let it sit and decay under the trees because it will not start. I can see behind the dirt and pine sap that there is a beautiful classic truck with a long life still ahead of it. I am excited to be able to resurrect such a fine hauler! I promise to document the story of it here as progress is made.

Air conditioning systems are a mystery to some. I think it is a fascinating demonstration of heat transfer caused by evaporation and condensation due to pressure changes. The Fiero’s air conditioner was not blowing very cool. My gauges showed a low refrigerant level. I found and replaced a leaking seal at a connection on the condenser. I also replaced the compressor, accumulator, or***ce tube and flushed the refrigerant pipes.
As I am filling the system, you can see the high side pressure increase. I was filling into the low side that's why the low side pressure was a little high. I think it is interesting to see the liquid refrigerant enter the sight glass. It will clear away when the can empties and the low side pressure begins to drop. At the end the pressures look good and the air conditioner is much cooler.
