Born and raised in Deshler Ohio I began at the age of 15 repairing engines at the Power Plant in Deshler. At age 16 I went to work for Steffens Auto-body Repair doing engine repairs on cars. When I was 18 , I began working at the neighborhood Pure gas station gas for Shakey Wensink. Repairing engines etc during the day. In the evenings I was working on race cars, that Shakey drove in the ear

ly arca races .Eventualy working the in pits.At the age of 20 I started work for Koppenhoffer Brothers where I had over seen a fleet of trucks. By the age of 21 I married and began to start a family.At age of 23 I began working for Cummins Deisel of Northern Ohio. Exit 5 of the Ohio Turnpike, Stony Ridge,Ohio. Where I worked for 10 years.during this time I had acquired my own shop.Eventually owning my own trucks and equipment. I started hauling grain for the area farmers .And leasing with area elevators .Luckey Farmers,Perrysburg Elevator,Grand Rapids Elevator,Gerald Elevator ,Weston elevator, to name a few.During this same time I had employed and leased trucks to Abbott Trucking where we hauled steel. Along the way I erected my own mechanic shop.And Serviced many customers over the last 37 years.
