The automotive world has lost a legend and we have lost a friend. Kyle was always so fun to have around and during each build we did for him he “decorated” our showroom, bathroom, and shop with his signature “mini manhoods” that we somehow never caught him doing but found them for months afterwards and cracked up every single time. We enjoyed sponsoring/attending his Ice Cream Cruise event every year since the beginning and were stunned by the exponential rate it grew and brought together car people from all genres. He positively affected more people than we could ever count. Rest easy Kyle, you will be truly missed.

We are extremely saddened to share that Kyle Loftis, the founder of 1320video, passed away last night. We are in a state of shock.

Kyle’s passion for motorsports inspired millions of people around the world and we will never forget what he has done to grow our beloved sport. Kyle was a beam of light at every gathering… his enthusiasm, kindness, and creativeness was contagious.

Let us pray that Kyle is in a better place.

This gentleman wanted to preserve his old Golden Eagles look without a repaint. A couple coats of Poppy’s Patina clear sealed it up and gave it an awesome look. When you have had a vehicle for decades and every scratch and dent is a memory some people want to preserve that character instead of erasing it with a restoration and this is the perfect way to do it. The cost is also significantly lower than a repaint.

After some barely legible scribbles on a Napa receipt and some very sophisticated math the winner has been deciphered. The total weight of the rigs was 31,320lbs. Of the people who guessed on all five rigs the closest total guess was 34350. Congratulations Eric Hecker! Send us a PM to collect your merch!

THE NUMBERS ARE IN! Like most of you we were guessing most of these rigs heavier than they are with the exception of the Rock Lizard buggy which was our control vehicle since we have weighed it previously on other scales. The results are below. We will calculate and announce the winner Monday!

It’s Friday so we threw in a bonus rig! Get your guesses in on the Goon JKU and the big M715 Tow Truck! Today is the final day for guesses and the winner will be calculated this evening so if you didn’t put a guess on the previous three rigs make sure you go check them out and guess!

A lighter weight rig for today’s guess but tomorrow we will do two of our heavy hitters including the M715 Tow Truck. If you haven’t already guessed on the previous two vehicles go put your guesses on those for a chance to win a TORC t-shirt and hat! We have a couple very close guesses on the weight of the first rig! We will announce the weight of all four rigs Friday evening along with the winner. Today’s heavy Chevy is a 1990 Cummins swapped V3500 on 40s. Get your guesses in and don’t forget to put your guess on yesterday’s rig if you haven’t already.

Our 7k pound scales weren’t getting the job done anymore so we upgraded to 14k! We will be weighing some of the heavier rigs around the shop including some of our personal rides.
