This 6.0 came in dying at random. Other parts had already been thrown at it. We verified the fuel pressure loss. Scoped the tank, found the broken sending unit, cleaned it, repaired it, and now it’s running strong. Diagnose first. Repair right. Back on the road.

This 2022 Ram developed a slight ticking noise.

After diagnosing the concern, we confirmed a camshaft and lifter problem. Because it was caught before the damage became more severe, the customer chose to move forward with a Hamilton flat tappet conversion instead of reinstalling the original-style valvetrain.

While the truck was here, the customer also chose a Fleece intake system to help eliminate the risk of a grid heater nut failure.

Two important concerns addressed—and this Cummins is ready to get back to work.

If your 2019–2024 Cummins has developed a misfire, unusual valvetrain noise, or a change in how it runs, have it properly diagnosed before the problem becomes more expensive.

Trouble codes point us in a direction. Testing confirms the actual problem.

This truck came to Anderson Diesel Service with timing-related codes. We followed the proper diagnostic process and used a PicoScope to compare the engine’s timing signals. Testing confirmed that the timing chain had stretched.

After discussing the repair options, the customer chose to replace the engine instead of repairing the timing system. The replacement engine comes with a three-year warranty, giving the customer added confidence moving forward.

Proper testing gave the customer the information needed to make the right decision for their truck.

This truck came in with excessive play in the steering.

After looking over the front end, we found worn steering components along with brakes that needed attention. It received new front steering components and a complete brake repair to get it driving, steering, and stopping the way it should.

An upper oil pan leak may sound simple—but getting to it is another story.

For this repair, we had to remove the transmission and lower oil pan just to access the upper pan. It’s a labor-intensive job that takes the right equipment and attention to detail to seal properly.
