❤️ Ewing Oil Family Spotlight — A Couple Days Late! ❤️

We’re running a couple of days behind this week, but we couldn’t let that stop us from shining the spotlight on another great member of the Ewing Oil family! Better late than never, right? 😊

Today we’re celebrating Jim from our Drayton location! ⛽❤️

Jim has been part of the Ewing Oil family since April of 2021 and works a couple of days each week in our kitchen. When Jim’s here, you know one thing for sure — he’s keeping that fried chicken flying! 🍗😋 We appreciate having him here those couple of days each week, and we know plenty of our customers do too!

Before joining us, Jim spent his career as a mechanic, and retirement certainly hasn’t stopped him from tinkering and building things. One of his more unique hobbies is building amateur radios! 📻🔧 We love hearing about the different projects he’s working on and seeing what he comes up with next.

When Jim isn’t tinkering or helping us in the kitchen, family keeps him plenty busy. He’s a proud father, grandpa, and great-grandpa! ❤️ Spending time with his family is incredibly important to him, and we’re thankful he chooses to spend some of his time with our Ewing Oil family too.

We love having Jimmy’s smiling face around the store and truly appreciate everything he does for our Drayton team and customers.

So the next time you stop in and smell that fried chicken cooking, there’s a good chance Jim is back there keeping it flying! 🍗 Make sure to say hi — we know he’d greatly appreciate it!

❤️ Ewing Oil Family Spotlight ❤️

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Zach from our Grand Forks location! ⛽❤️

Zach joined the Ewing Oil family in April of this year, and even though he hasn’t been with us for long, he has already made a huge impact on our Grand Forks store. His hard work, willingness to learn, and dedication haven’t gone unnoticed, and we’re excited to have Zach training to become the next Store Manager of our Grand Forks location! 🙌

We’re extremely excited to see Zach grow into this new role and can’t thank him enough for everything he has already accomplished in such a short amount of time.

Outside of Ewing Oil, you can also find Zach working part-time at Red Ray Lanes. And when he’s not working there, there’s still a pretty good chance you’ll find him at the bowling alley! 🎳 Zach is an avid bowler — and a dang good one at that! During the winter, he competes in several leagues and travels to plenty of tournaments. Safe to say, bowling keeps him pretty busy!

When he’s able to get away from work and the lanes, Zach loves spending time with his family and, of course, hanging out with his friends.

Zach has been a great addition to the Ewing Oil family, and we’re looking forward to seeing what the future holds for him as he takes on more responsibility at our Grand Forks store.

The next time you’re in our Grand Forks location, make sure to stop and say hi to Zach and congratulate him on his upcoming new role!

🎒🚌 BACK TO SCHOOL, DRAYTON! 🚌🎒

It’s the first day of school in Drayton, and all of us at Ewing Oil Convenience Stores want to wish the students, teachers, staff, and parents an awesome start to the new school year! 📚✏️

As everyone gets back into the school routine, we want to remind drivers to slow down, stay alert, and keep an extra eye out for our little ones walking, biking, and getting on and off school buses. ❤️

🛑 Watch for school buses and flashing lights.
🚸 Pay extra attention in school zones and at crosswalks.
📵 Put the distractions away and keep your eyes on the road.

❤️ Ewing Oil Family Spotlight ❤️

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Rick, our Night Supervisor at our Hillsboro location! ⛽❤️

Rick joined the Ewing Oil family in October of 2024 and has become a huge asset to Tessa and the entire Hillsboro team. He does a fantastic job keeping the store clean, organized, and ready for our customers while providing the great customer service we pride ourselves on at Ewing Oil!

Having someone dependable at night who takes pride in the store makes a huge difference, and we’re incredibly thankful to have Rick on our team.

Outside of work, Rick enjoys spending time with his family and friends, relaxing around a bonfire 🔥, getting out fishing 🎣 and, most importantly… cheering on the MINNESOTA VIKINGS! 💜💛🏈 Let’s just say Rick is a pretty big Vikings fan, so if you’re looking for someone to talk football with this season, you know where to find him!

Next time you’re at our Hillsboro location and see Rick behind the counter, make sure to say hi — and maybe ask him how the Vikings are looking this year! 😉
