Honda just claimed their 99th win from 'Car and Driver,' the most of any brand ever. The Accord has 40 wins, including 28 consecutive. The Civic's made the list 12 times, the CR-V seven, and now the ruggedly redesigned Passport joins the party. Four straight years as the most awarded brand! Oh yeah.... Just throwing out a few stats for those of you shopping for a new(er) vehicle in 2026. First, around 30% of Americans currently have a car payment over $1,000 per month. The average price of a new vehicle has topped $50k. Second, the average price of a used vehicle has topped $26k. The most difficult pricing segment to find a used vehicle in for 2025 was $15k and below. Current national averages for interest rates are between 6.5% - 7% for new vehicles, and 11.4% - 11.8% for used vehicles. These are simply the facts of the times, but it doesn't seem like most car-shoppers are aware or even prepared to hear these kind of numbers. Reach out with any questions anytime!
