2019 Street Glide Special Cam & Tune! 🔥

Customer brought in this 2019 Street Glide Special with only 1,300 miles on it! Kept the stock Harley head pipe and had already installed TAB slip-ons.

We installed a Wood WM8-22XE cam, S&S camplate & oil pump, and intake manifold, then finished it off with a dyno tune.

Results:
💥 109 HP
💥 124 lb-ft torque

That’s a gain of:
⬆️ 37 HP
⬆️ 21 lb-ft torque

Pretty stout numbers for a stock head pipe with TAB slip-ons! 👊

Wrapped this one up with some serious upgrades:

If you notice what looks like clutch slip on the final dyno pull—that’s not the case. Just a little tire jump on the dyno roller; needed to pull the bike forward slightly.

2012 Harley Heritage Classic Softail came in as a stock bike with Cobra slip-ons.

We added:

🔥 **Build Update: 2025 Road Glide 117 ➡️ 135 Upgrade** 🔥

This beast got a serious power jump 💪 — going from stock to a **135 build with a TTS MASTERTUNE 2 (HARLEY) 250 cam**… and yeah, the stock clutch didn’t stand a chance 😅

🔧 **What happened:**
The clutch started slipping during break-in and dyno tuning, which ended up damaging the plates. Check out the crazy dyno chart!

🔧 **What we did:**
✔️ Upgraded to a **Trask Performance Power Plate** (huge improvement)
✔️ Installing **Rekluse Motor Sports TorqDrive clutch disks & plates** for serious holding power 🔥
✔️ Installing a Darkhorse Motor Company Motor Sprocket Upgrade** — built to handle extreme torque, improved longevity, and smoother power transfer

🔧 **Full performance package:**
⚙️ **Trask Performance Chain Drive Conversion** – ditching the belt for a rear wheel chain drive
⚙️ **Darkhorse Motor Company Motor Sprocket** ⚙️paired with chain drive for maximum strength and reliability
🏁 **Öhlins Racing - Motorcycle front cartridges & rear shocks** – dialed-in handling and ride quality

**2025 Road Glide 135 Crate Engine Update**

After a bit trying to dyno tune this bike, we kept finding mistake after mistake from the original engine install completed by someone else.

We found:

* Missing spacers from the D&D slip-on
* Broken plastic clutch cable holder on the frame
* And the biggest issue that took some time to track down — the fuel injectors were connected backwards

Check out the crazy VTune charts. The stock clutch couldn’t handle the extra power of the 135, with the TTS 250 camshaft. You can see the clutch slip right there in the dyno chart. Replaced clutch cable with Barnett Clutches and Cables and added a Trask Performance Power Plate and springs.

Once we swapped the injector connectors to the correct injectors and upgraded the clutch we were finally able to get it properly dyno tuned with **TTS MASTERTUNE 2 (HARLEY)**, retaining the **stock ECM and all stock ECM functionality**.

See the pic of injectors from left side of bike. Black should always be the back cylinder since somewhere around 2021 or so. Grey is in the back from installer.

**Final numbers: 157 HP / 164 TQ** 🔥💪🏍️

Still a small dip around 3500 RPM. We'll be upgrading the clutch plates to straighten the line.

We’ll see if it puts down even more after the **Rekluse Motor Sports clutch install**.

🔥 **2025 Road Glide Build **🔥

This **2025 Road Glide** is packing some serious muscle with a **Harley-Davidson Crate 135 Engine** and a **D&D Billet Cat Big Bore Baffle 2-1 Exhaust** — professionally installed by the Harley dealership. 💪🏁

The engine was **properly broken in on the dyno**, and now we’re stepping things up before final tuning.

🔧 **Upgrades in progress:**
▪️ Replacing the **Screamin’ Eagle 550 Camshaft**
▪️ Installing a **TTS MASTERTUNE 2 (HARLEY) 250 Camshaft**
▪️ Adding **S&S Cycle, Inc. Precision Lifters and Quickie Adjustable Pushrods** for durability and performance

🔧 **Exhaust Correction:**
The exhaust originally had **poorly designed O₂ sensor bungs located in a low-flow area**, preventing the sensors from properly reading exhaust gases. These were **plugged and replaced with Gunny’s V-Twin custom O₂ sensor bungs**, welded into a **proper exhaust flow location so the sensors are directly in the exhaust stream** for accurate readings and optimal tuning. 🛠️

🔧 **Engine Inspection:**
Crankshaft **pinion run-out measured with Darkhorse Motor Company Tool at .008"** — not ideal, but **fairly typical for many Harley factory-built engines**. The **Screamin’ Eagle camplate and oil pump** are designed to **handle this amount of run-out without issue**, ensuring proper oiling and reliability. ⚙️

Once complete, the **stock ECM will be expertly tuned using TTS MasterTune**, ensuring:
✔️ **Factory ride modes retained**
✔️ **Torque management fully functional**
✔️ **All original stock ECM controls preserved**

This setup keeps the **full OEM functionality** while delivering **maximum performance and reliability**.
