We got to be spectators this past weekend and watch The Sizzler! We always love to watch the family meet in victory lane 🏁

Congratulations to Dad on his 3rd modified Sizzler win and to Jacob on the biggest win of his career yet! 🏁🏁

With the end of the season upon us we’ve had a few weeks off and a couple left to go before we race next. Our next race will be Trifecta Championships back at New Paris September 19th!

That stack up of the field last weekend on a start got the car good! Truthfully we were lucky to finish the race let alone win because when we unloaded Sunday the fuel cell was hanging by a thread with all the bars and braces to it smashed and broken, the tire was shredded a few layers down from the fender being in it, and the nose was so smashed it was lucky it didn’t overheat 🫣 New bumper, bumper cover, hood, hood tuck, fender, body braces, and fuel cell bars and brackets are done 😅 Now for the set up and we will be ready! Kalamazoo Wednesday night for Raber’s Rumble 🏁

Not many drivers get the opportunity in life to race with their family. This past weekend Austin ran many many hard, clean, door to door laps with Dad and Logan. In a family with a racing dynasty this big they all race against each other a lot. On the race track they are each other’s toughest competition, before and after they’re still each others biggest fans, most help and best support system. For 3 years straight 2 or more Maynards have finished top 5 in the same Flagger Boy race. Last year Austin was going for 4 in a row and ended up top 5 with Ronnie taking the win. The year before Jake was in our 2nd car and they finished 1&2. As much as we love the wins ourselves, we celebrate whichever of us ends up in that top spot as a family 🏁

P1 tonight! 🏁
Another Flagger Boy win under Austin’s belt. The race was very long taking an hour and a half to complete 50 laps. Everyone ran out of steam and patience by the end. In the beginning Austin moved up very quickly from the back and felt he had a car to beat. After a stack up in the field a few laps in Austin’s hood pins/tuck broke and his hood flew up covering his windshield, he had to pit to pull it off and restart from the tail. Luckily it was only 9 laps in and he had time to make it from the back to the front again! Once the cautions stopped the last part of the race was a good battle between dad and sons, and Steve. In the end it came down to a clean battle between Austin and Logan, it’s always good when the brothers finish 1&2 💪🏻

Huge thanks to Zachary Maynard for coming over early this morning to help us go through and re set the car up after last nights practice.

Heading back to New Paris Speedway Saturday for The Flagger Boy, Twin 50 Lap features 🏁

With 2 separate features, quite a few street stock drivers are chasing big winnings as well as Trifecta points as this is race 2 of 3 for the Trifecta Championship!

Plymouth finished P8, unfortunately Logan broke a part on his motor and DNF his race. We will be taking next week off and we will decide what happens the rest of the season soon.
