Managed to not break out 😎 P4 finish, some of the Michiana Boys found out the track doesn’t like soak. The car felt better on 100 lap old tires but we didn’t want to lose positions pulling off to put the old ones on. The goal was to hang on and not break out so we’ll take it! Thanks to Michael Moore for coming to spot.

It’s Race Day! 🏁

The key is not breaking out 🫣 Austin’s max time he can go is a 16.31, let’s remember he was practicing at a 15.99 on Friday 😅 it’ll be a challenge but let’s go 😎

What a rollercoaster of qualifying that was 😅🫣

In qualifying our radio went out and Austin didn’t know how far off his first lap was while trying to be under the breakout, he got 4 single lap chances after that. On lap 1 he went a little faster but not where he wanted to be, the next try he broke out which scratched all his previous times and he had to start over. The next attempt he broke out again, then finally got within breakout time. He did try 1 more time to get as close as possible but that 4th lap will be what we lock in at. P11

Hoping for the best and not to breakout in the heat or feature this weekend. Bracket racing in a nutshell 🏁🦩

The “fun” part of bracket racing, going the perfect speed 🫣😝

Yesterday we unloaded, took 2 practice sessions to get a feel for the car at full speed and see what adjustments were needed if any. Today is all about learning how to slow it down. Austin ran a 15.99 yesterday, with a 16.40 break out so we have some work to do learning where the car goes that perfect speed to qualify tonight!

A close P2 finish! But Austin is the New Paris Speedway Street Stock Trifecta Champion for the 2nd year in a row and earned the bonus! 🏆🏁 some good, hard racing tonight! Congrats to Cei Bowen on his first street stock win, he had a hot rod and definitely earned that one!

One more race for the AMR team this year, next week at Grundy for the Bahama Brackets!
