This is the only update we have received from Entergy, as of this morning:

“Entergy: Restoration and damage assessment is underway in your area after passage of Hurricane Francine. Please visit entergy.com/viewoutages for the latest information regarding the restoration timeframe for your service. We anticipate that restoration in your area will be complete by 09/14/2024 10:00 PM. For other storm updates visit entergy.com/stormcenter. Thank you for being a valued Entergy Louisiana customer.”

If we receive if further updates we will post here.

Hopefully by tomorrow night we will have power!

UPDATE

Due to a neighbors tree falling and knocking down our power line, the power is currently out at the park.

We have to wait on the energy company to fix it and have not received an estimated restoration time yet.

As soon as we get an update we will post it on here.

Hey Everyone! As Hurricane Francine approaches we want to encourage everyone to prepare as necessary.

Please make sure to pick up all loose items outside of your RV and close your awnings!

This storm will bring heavy winds and a lot of rain.

Flooding should not be an issue for us at the park but power outages are almost guaranteed.

As the storms passes, we will keep everyone updated on any power outages and restoration times.

If any of our residents need anything, please reach out and we will do anything we can to help.

Entergy is finally here. They are working on it right now so we should have power very soon. We will update again when it is officially on!

Update:
I’m Sorry to say we still do not have power. I have spoken with Entergy daily to let them know we are still without power and they say they are working on it. We had a tree fall onto a power line that we have cut and moved thinking it would help expedite the process but it hasn’t. We have done everything we can do on our part so we just have to wait on Entergy now. We appreciate everyone’s patience during this time. We are just as frustrated as you about not having power yet but It is out of our hands now. Thanks for your understanding.

Update: We are still without power. We are doing everything we can to try and get Entergy out here. We will provide any updates as we receive them. Thank you very much for your continued patience.

As of 1pm on Wednesday we still do not have power. We have done everything in our power to get an estimated time from Entergy but they will not provide us a restoration time. They have been working on the main lines on Airline Highway so we are hoping we will have power soon. Thank you all again for your patience.
