Dyno tuning a motorcycle is the process of using a dynamometer, or "dyno," to test and tune the engine for maximum performance and efficiency.

The dyno tuning process
1. Baseline run: A technician places your motorcycle on the dyno and performs an initial run to get baseline measurements of horsepower, torque, and air-fuel ratio (AFR).
2. Adjustments: Using the data collected, the technician makes precise adjustments to your bike's fuel and air supply and ignition settings. This is done to create a custom "map" for your motorcycle's engine control unit (ECU).
3. Validation run: The motorcycle is run on the dyno again to measure the changes and confirm the improvements from the initial run.

*Engine longevity: An engine that is properly tuned and not running too rich or too lean will experience less wear and tear and have a longer lifespan.

*Enhances modifications: If you've added aftermarket parts, such as a new exhaust or air filter, a dyno tune is necessary to prevent a lean condition and maximize the parts' performance.
