If you're setting up a two-radio install and want to keep it organized, here's how the SKYMO dual radio mounting plate upgrade works.

You start with a SKYMO mount base — either a vehicle-specific mount for your truck, or the adjustable cup holder mount. The dual radio mounting plate upgrade (PN 20902) replaces the standard single radio mounting plate that comes with the radio mount kit. With the upgrade, instead of space for one radio, you'll have space for two radios side-by-side.

What you'll need for a complete two-radio setup: the mount base, the dual radio mounting plate, the two brackets that came with your radios (one per radio), and the hardware included with the SKYMO components.

SKYMO started because I had a specific problem I couldn't find a clean solution for.

I had a truck. I had a radio. And when I went looking for a way to mount it properly — without drilling into the console — I couldn't find what I needed.

So I designed a mount for my own truck. Other people started asking for something similar for their trucks. The catalog grew from there.

Every design decision in every product reflects the same questions: would I use this in my own truck? Does it fit the way it should? Does it solve the problem cleanly?

It's still why every product either gets built right or doesn't get built.

If you drive a 2016–2024 4th gen RAM with the full-length center floor console, we have a vehicle-specific mount for it.

The 4th gen RAM radio mount (PN 20176A) installs with no drilling and no interior modifications – it sits on the console and holds the radio securely where you can reach it.

One thing worth noting: 4th gen RAMs came with two different console versions. This mount fits the one shown here. If you're not sure which console you have, check the listing on skymo.com — there are photos and more info to help you identify it.

For F-Series truck owners — if you're driving a 2015 or newer F-150 or Super Duty with the split bench seat, start with PN 20126A.

It's a vehicle-specific mount designed for 2015+ Ford F-Series trucks. Fits the console without drilling, holds the radio securely, and doesn't modify anything in the truck.

If you have an older F-Series, or if your interior configuration is different from what 20126A is built for, the adjustable cup holder mount (PN 20117A) is the next option to look at. It works in most F-Series trucks — same no-drill install, just not vehicle-specific.

That's the goal! If you have a radio, and don't want to cut into the console to mount it, the adjustable radio mount can help solve the problem.

One feature of SKYMO radio mounts that came about because of customer feedback: the base has multiple vertical positions for the mounting plate.

This matters more than you might think – depending on your specific radio and your personal preferences, that height adjustability helps you fine tune your installation so you can set your radio right where you want it.

The mounting plate bolts to the base at whichever position works for your setup. Pick the height before you tighten everything down, and you end up with the radio exactly where you want it rather than wherever it lands by default.

Small detail, but it's the kind of thing that makes an install feel right and use of your radio more convenient for years to come.
