Let me introduce Matt Mencer. Matt has worked extremely hard and has now become a Master ASE certified technician with a L1 certification. The L1 is an advanced level certification in engine performance. If your vehicle was diagnosed for a check engine or drivability concern at our facility, Matt most likely was involved in the process. One of the skills Matt has became a specialist in, is using an oscilloscope . This is what you see here, Matt is using an oscilloscope to see a picture of what is going on within communication bus or network to property diagnose the system.

Here is a little information on what we are seeing. This car is 6 years old, not NEW technology. Unfortunately this customer bought this car this way the previous owner had repaired this vehicle after an accident and does not realize the dangers that are present when you do not perform the proper repairs with a proper parts.
