⛳️The fairways were full, the weather was perfect, and the support for our local veterans was impossible to miss at the 6th Annual Western Slope Veterans Coalition Golf Tournament and Fundraiser.🇺🇸

Glenwood Springs Ford was honored to be part of the day and sponsor the Hole-In-One prize on Hole 17 🚙

While nobody drove away in the grand prize, the real victory was the incredible turnout from a community that continues to stand behind those who served.

The Western Slope Veterans Coalition works every day to connect veterans and their families with the resources, support, and services they need. Events like this help make that mission possible.

💛May was an excellent month spent celebrating the people and programs helping local students thrive.

Today at Glenwood Springs Ford, Zach Carlson presented a $3,000 donation to Glenwood Springs Education Fund co-founder Mike Picore, capping off a partnership focused on raising awareness for an organization that continues to bring valuable resources and opportunities into our local schools.📚

What makes this gift especially meaningful is that it grew with every share. Every time someone passed along one of our Community Partners posts, they helped expand the reach of the Fund’s mission and moved us closer to unlocking additional support.

🍻More than 900 tickets were sold for the 2026 Glenwood Springs Education Fund Fund Corks & Kegs, making it the largest celebration of the school year and the perfect start to summer.🥂

What makes this event so special is how seamlessly an entire community comes together to make it happen. Local chefs and restaurants delivering standout cuisine. Colorado breweries, wineries, and beverage partners showcasing their craft. Volunteers working quietly behind the scenes to keep everything moving. Sponsors investing directly in local education. 📚The Glenwood Springs Education Fund works year round to provide grants for classroom projects that fall outside traditional school funding, helping bring new ideas, resources, and experiences into local schools.
