EK Civic with a B20VTEC setup in for some tuning. It has some Edelbrock cams and some high comp pistons. It’s running 93 Octane ⛽️ for now, but it will be back for a retune on ethanol at a later date 👍

We were able to get Ross’ MR2 back on the dyno this week to really see how the new setup performs at a higher boost pressure. This is a fully built 3SGTE with some GSC S2 cams, and a Precision 6766 Turbo. It was clear that we have reached the limit of the Walbro 450LPH fuel pump, so we were not able to push it any further. The 6766 performed incredibly well as it was only around 35 psi that we started to cross the 1:1 exhaust to intake manifold pressure ratio. This is pretty impressive considering this turbo has a .82 A/R turbine housing 👍

Just about finished up with this EK Civic project that we have been working with. It has a fully built D16Y8, and a custom Fueltech harness all done in-house. It has a CSS equipped block with the classic Vitara pistons and Speedfactory “no-notch” rods. The top end is set up with a full Supertech valvetrain and a Speedfactory “street savage” cam. Engine management is handled by the Fueltech FT550 🧑‍💻

We got MR2 on the dyno last week for some engine break in and tuning 🧑‍💻This is a new setup for this car and the results are showing some great potential. It’s also now running an EMAP sensor so that we are able to monitor exhaust manifold pressure through the Link G4+ ECU. This can be really useful for confirming that the turbo is correctly matched to the engine/setup. It is currently at a mild boost level for now until the engine has some more run time, but it will be back on the dyno very soon for more! 🔥📈

We were finally able to get this MR2 project dialed in on the dyno this weekend 🧑‍💻 This car had been K24 swapped a couple years ago, but there were a lot of things that needed attention/revision so it was decided that the best option would be to drop out the exisiting setup and start fresh. Over the past year we’ve been hard at work getting this car where it needed to be. It now has a custom Mil-Spec harness, built cylinder head with a full BC valvetrain, custom fuel cell with dual AEM 400 LPH pumps, new catch can/breather system, 16AN coolant lines, sandblasted and painted engine bay, proper battery relocation, etc.

Huge shoutout to for all the incredible fab work including the custom fuel cell, AN bungs for the water neck and valve cover, mounting bracket for the catch can, and everything else that needed done. Also big shoutout to for all the hours put in towards getting the engine bay looking good as well as all the help with getting the project done.

On ethanol ⛽️ it produced at 716hp and 609 lb•ft tq at 24psi. Running MAXXECU Street 💻

We have another custom mil-spec engine harness in progress for a D16Y8 running a FuelTech FT550 🧑‍💻There is a metric ton of planning and time that comes with making this type of harness but the end result is a package that is extremely durable, flexible, weather proof, aesthetically satisfying, and with the bulkhead connector it really is the best solution for automotive wiring in performance applications 👍
