We are locally owned since 2009 and take great pride in delivering car repair and maintenance services to those who trust us with their vehicles. Our motto and mission statement is "Keeping your car reliable and safe." Automotive in Glenview's goal has been to keep your car safe and reliable. Joe, our owner, is a self taught ASE Certified Master Automobile Technician. He has been working on vehicles since 1976, including 3 years as an instructor at an automobile and motorcycle technician school and 19 years in a dealership. He attained the following ASE certifications with a score of 97% over the course of two days of testing:

One of our favorite kinds of five-star reviews.

A customer came in with a Check Engine light on his Subaru. Before stopping by our shop, he'd already been quoted $202 just for a diagnostic scan somewhere else. We ran the scan, found a valve issue, and then told him something a lot of shops wouldn't: this repair is covered under his Subaru warranty, so he should take it to the dealer instead of paying us for it.

That's not us turning away business for no reason. That's us doing what's right for the person sitting in our waiting room. We've built this shop since 2009 on the idea that you should be able to trust the person telling you what's wrong with your car, and that sometimes the most honest thing we can do is point you somewhere else.
