Every so often we come across an interesting repair. This newer Lexus had overheated and had low compression. Unfortunately, if the engine overheats long enough and regardless of miles, engine damage can occur. Just stop and tow.
We removed the heads and we found a broken valve seat.

This is an Audi. Many newer vehicles have this type of carbon build up on the valves. We remove the intake manifold to perform walnut blasting. These are before and after pictures.

We had to remove the engine in this Acura to repair the broken engine mount bolts to the front of the block.
