Somewhere between 1968 - 1971 … anyone know for certain ?? New owner of the 1941 Willys would love to know !! He’s gathering history of the car. Car is now in Minnesota owner Warren Bryan ( well actually his wife bought it .. he said it was her dream car !! )

The Grandfather of Drag Racing and Legendary “Speedy Ball” Passes Away

Tony Ball said “On behalf of Mitchell and Darlene Ball and the Ball family…… the legendary Speedy Ball passed away early this morning. “

“He was the last of my Dad’s eight brothers and sisters. He will always be remembered for his big personality, detailed story telling, love of RC colas, and of course his long drag racing career. “

“I could post hundreds of pictures of his racing days, but this picture probably covers it all. He was the the Grandfather of Drag Racing and my all time favorite Uncle .”

Please keep Mitchell, Darlene, and family in your prayers.
