The second round of stockings for Trout location are finishing up this week at most locations. To find the stocking information go to our website at this link: https://ksoutdoors.gov/Fishing/Special-Fishing-Programs-for-You/Trout-Fishing-Program
A Trout Permit is required to harvest trout and to fish at Type 1 locations. At Type 2 location a Trout Permit is required to harvest Trout. A Trout Permit can be purchased at the following link: https://license.gooutdoorskansas.gov/Licensing/CustomerLookup.aspx
Share some pictures of the bait and presentation that gives you the best success to catch trout as the season is in full swing.

Thank you to Waconda Culture Association and Glen Elder State Park for making Lakefest Celebration a grand day.
Thank you to all the sponsors and all who donated for the raffles and volunteers. A very big thank you to 3TIMBER STUDIOS of Lincoln, NE. Husband and wife team for their wood carvings which were auctioned and brought enough to add a second playground to Glen Elder State Park.

Hello everyone from Eyegore's Curiosities and Monster Museum in Cawker City Kansas!

When we opened the shop this morning we found Godzilla wreaking havoc on some innocent Peeps and a monster egg!! Inside the egg are jelly beans!!

All month long we will have a contest to see if you can correctly guess the number of jellybeans inside that monster egg! Stop by Eyegore's to fill out a guess slip and the person who correctly guesses the number will win a gift certificate to Eyegore's!! If more than one correct guess is made, then we will have a drawing from the guessers to find a winner for the gift certificate!

It's a foggy day here in Cawker City, but there are a lot of things to do! Stop into Cawker City Coffee for some hydration and maybe something sweet or grab breakfast or lunch at Wisconsin Street Trading Post Gift Shoppe and Travel Plaza !

Need to feed your artistic self? Stop into the new Local Talent Shop LLC to see some artwork by local artists and maybe take something home with you! Speaking of artwork there are still a dozen or so paintings displayed in shop windows that all have our World's Largest Ball of Twine hidden in them- how many can you find?? After finding the ball in the paintings- go check out the gigantic orb of twine itself!

We are open until 5pm today and from noon to 5 pm tomorrow! Stop in and make a guess in the jellybean contest or check out the "rear view", the largest collection of rump taxidermy in Kansas!!
