Slow down. Leave extra room between you and the car you are following. Turn on your headlights. If you hydroplane, don’t brake..stay off accelerator.. gently steer. Check your tires for appropriate tread. Check your windshield wipers.

Summer is almost here. With the expected heat, it is important that your car is ready.

1. Check the tire pressure. Check the car’s owner manual for the appropriate tire pressure. Make sure the tread on the tires is adequate.

2.The Owner’s Manual will state the recommended mileage or time for Service. Your mechanic can also check the hoses, the radiator,and filters for wear and tear.

3. After your vehicle is parked overnight, look under it for any fluid.

4. Before any long trip, check the fluids, engine & transmission, & the tires!!
