This afternoon my wife and I attended the best of the barren bash where the awards were given to all the winners. It was a great time and I’m still so proud to have won this. Some people might not see this like I do. To me it’s a big deal. 12 years I’ve been doing this, trying to build a name, a reputation worth being proud of. And this year the people of Barren county voted Richard’s window tinting best of the barren. I thank you all who voted for me this year and I look forward to earning the votes next year of the people who didn’t.

🏆 WE WON BEST OF THE BARRENS! 🏆

I’m beyond proud and grateful to announce that Richard’s Window Tinting has been named the Best of the Barrens winner for vehicle Customization!

This one means a LOT because it’s voted on by the people in our community. Every vehicle you’ve trusted me with, every referral, every share, every recommendation, and every customer who has supported my business helped make this possible.

When I started Richard’s Window Tinting, I never imagined it would grow into what it is today. I’ve worked hard to build a business where I can take pride in every job that leaves my shop, and having my community recognize that work is something I’ll never take for granted.

Thank you, Barren County, for believing in me and supporting Richard’s Window Tinting! ❤️

And most importantly, thank you to every single customer who has trusted me with their vehicle. I truly appreciate every one of you.

I can’t leave out my beautiful wife, who has supported me throughout almost all of the Richard’s window tinting journey. She believed in me when nobody else did. When I was getting texts from people telling me to stop tinting and “get a real job” she countered it with encouragement. She had faith in me when I probably didn’t even have faith in myself. When I had nothing to offer but debt and a struggling business that didn’t even pay the mediocre bills I had at the time she stood by my side. Thank you baby for always supporting and believing in me.

So we ran out of available summer time baby sitters and little bit hasn’t started preschool yet, she stayed with my wife’s aunt till 12 then she had to come to the shop, now I’m not saying bringing a toddler to work made things worse, but it definitely didn’t make it easier. If I missed your call today I promise I’ll get it returned tomorrow. She had the phone half the day for YouTube kids 😂

A while back, I had an idea.

Vinyl is great for business signs and window lettering, but even the highest-quality vinyl eventually fades, shrinks, and dries out. To keep it looking fresh, you’re often replacing it every year or two.

So I asked myself: Why not use window tint instead?

For this logo, I cut the design from automotive window film and backed it with dual-reflective mirror tint. The result is a clean, professional look that really pops in the glass.

The best part? Unlike traditional vinyl, this installation should still be looking great years down the road—potentially 10 years or more with proper care.

If you’re looking for a more durable way to display your business logo, hours, or other information on your storefront windows, give me a call. I can custom-create your logo, business hours, contact information, and more.

Stand out from the crowd with something built to last.
