Bittersweet? To say the least. I have been walking thru those doors every day for 45 years. Those same doors my daddy walked through. Those same doors my brother walked through. I hope we have fulfilled your dreams, daddy. I hope we have honored the Witty name. There have been struggles, but there has been great joy. Thank you to all my customers who I call my friends. I have enjoyed every minute of getting to know you and serving you. You have meant the world to me. I will always call you my friends.
Thank you to my guys… My employees. You were like my family and I couldn’t have done this without you. Thank you Clifton Wheeler for hanging with me from beginning to end.
Thank you to my family… My brothers and sisters, Molly and Jeff, for always encouraging me and having my back.
Thank you to my daughter, Becky, my right hand. I think this is what I will miss most. I couldn’t have hung in these last years without her by my side. We truly enjoyed working together.
I will miss it all, but I am looking forward to the future and my retirement.

It is with great sadness that I announce that my business partner and loving brother lost his battle with cancer last night. He will certainly be missed by all of us. Funeral services will be Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 2:00 PM, at Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home. Thanks to everyone for all of your kind words during this sad time.
