So, when I very first started building my electronics I knew absolutely NOTHING about the components used in the displays. The only LEDs I had ever played with were the ones from Radio Shack. So I started by having a friend at the time who worked for the school systems IT dept. Take a copy of KR I made and freeze the opening so I could get a close and long look and what the LEDs looked like. Funny enough, I had no idea what those LEDs were until I was in Kroger checkout and they had upgraded at that point. To give you an idea of how much trouble it was at the time, first you have to remember... there was no internet. I went back to Kroger and measured the LEDs and then went to Digikeys' magazine and had to physically find the right ones based of measurements, order them and guess at the rest.

I just want to take a min. to thank everyone who's been watching, commenting, sharing these recent wave of vids I've been posting. Man, I'm amazed. Some of these are getting 20,30,50K views! If I had known you guys like this stuff, I would have posted stuff like this a long time ago. I gotta say this started out as just an idea to show people how far I've come. It's one thing to SAY what I know or do or what I'm capable of, or how long I've been into it or how dedicated I am. It's quite another to SHOW you. I may do a Q/A. You can PM me your questions and I can answer them in a dedicated post at a future point. Would that be a good idea? I will only answer questions to those who actually follow tho. Right now, my setting allow anyone to post even if they don't follow. That will change soon. Anyway, thanks again!! Enjoy the content. (who knows, maybe this will inspire people to do the same)

This one does something to me. I remember my first interview. My car was in that museum for over 3 months. I did actually start an actual Knight Foundation. And it was for teens and young adults my age at the time. It never went anywhere, but I did it. Point is.. THIS is who I am. I never quit trying. Just on a diff level now. I'm not the guy who makes KR parts or "puts them together" trying to knock someone down so I can be the "newest" or the "best". I had a mission. I still do. And, it's not to be a "king" of anything.
