Something we want to be upfront about.

During September's food drive, any customer who donates 20 pounds of food gets $500 off select vehicles on our lot. We go by net weight, straight off the labels.

The plain facts:

• One discount per customer, usable through September 30
• Which vehicles qualify changes through the month, so ask us when you come in
• The $10 donation bags at checkout count as 10 pounds each, so two bags qualifies you

To be clear, the drive isn't about this. Every pound goes to the Council of Community Services no matter what, and that's the point. But if you were already planning to buy from us this month, your donation should count for something. So it does.

Gillette, we've got a goal for September and it has nothing to do with trucks.

Starting today, Thunder Basin Ford is collecting food for the Council of Community Services. All month long. The goal is 4,000 pounds by September 30, and every single pound stays right here in Campbell County.

Four ways to help:

🥫 Drop non-perishable food at our front desk. Hand it off and get on with your day.
🚚 Too much to haul? Call us and we'll come pick it up, free, within 15 miles.
🛍️ No spare food at home? Grab a pre-filled donation bag at our checkout.
💵 Rather give cash? We match it dollar for dollar, up to $2,500 total. Checks are written to Thunder Basin Ford, we double them, and one combined check goes to CCS at the end of the month.

Donation boxes are at our store, at Walmart, at Office Depot, and at Cigar Box 307. Non-perishable, unexpired, unopened.

The Ellmakers are Gillette locals who had bought from us before, so we were glad to see them walk in for a 2026 Ford F-150.

Then about a month later they came back and bought a 2026 Ford Bronco Sport.

Two vehicles, one month, same family. There isn't a marketing line in the world that says more than that.
