THE GREENFIELD ACRES COMMUNITY CAR SHOW IS TAKING A BREAK
Friends, it's been a great run. Over the last two decades, we've had an amazing time with this car enthusiast community — enjoying good food, great music, and making lasting friendships. Every year, no matter how many makes and models rolled through the neighborhood, we still found new surprises around every corner. From the beginning, we never wanted to lose the close community feel that made the show special. But over time, we grew beyond what we could manage well. 2025 was our best-attended event ever, and while that's something to celebrate, it also made the challenges impossible to ignore. We couldn't keep up with the volume of cars arriving, and for 2026 we've lost access to the space we relied on for attendee parking — making it increasingly difficult to keep the event both safe and enjoyable. After careful consideration, the organizers have decided to take a break and explore whether we can bring the show back in a way that preserves everything that made it great. We know this will be disappointing to many of you — and honestly, it is for us too. We want to thank everyone who made it possible over the years: those who donated food, directed traffic, and shuttled attendees; the property owners who graciously put up with the chaos; and the legions of car owners who showed up year after year and made it such a memorable time. So many people have been so generous that it's impossible to thank you all by name — but you know who you are. We don't yet know when or exactly how the GFA Car Show will return, but we haven't given up hope. When the right opportunity comes together, we intend to be ready. Thank you for the incredible memories. Stay tuned — we hope to see you again.
