ody weighted/cable machine, PRECOR Elliptical machine, Kettleblocks, Powerblocks, BOSU trainers, various boxing equipment, Agility ladder, Battle ropes, Smash balls and TRX Suspension training along with A LOT more. Glisten Girls Fitness also runs a Weekend Warrior Bootcamp on Saturday mornings at 6am during the Summer months and 6:30am/7am during the Fall/Winter months(check official website for start time) located at Cosmo Park located in Gilbert Arizona.

What exactly does your son do in track and field, they ask. What’s a Decathlete? Well, here’s some great photos taken at his first Collegiate Outdoor Big Sky Championships. Hope this helps you understand what a BEAST he is…10 events, 5 each day! He also competed in the 4x400 relay!!! Freshman year. My son scored points for his team at his first Indoor Heptathlon and first Outdoor Decathlon. He also took 1st place in a couple Collegiate long jumps. Not bad for a freshman. BIG THINGS coming from my track star son next year. Stay tuned.💯🔥❤️

Hi everyone!! Here is my May FOX 10 Phoenix fitness segment! Grab a medicine ball, weight or bottled water and join us in a "Core progression workout!"
-Sit tall on the floor with your knees bent, heels down and toes to the sky. Bring your arms straight out in front of you as you lean back slightly as you press your arms up and down, hold for 30-60 sec.
-Stay in this position as you progress to lifting your feet off the floor. Press arms up and down again for 30-60 sec.
-Next progression, keep feet up as you twist your body side to side, tapping the floor w/your med ball or weight. If this is too challenging, bring your heels down as you lean back and tap elbow to elbow each side on the floor. 30-60 sec.
-Now, lace the med ball or weight thru your legs with your knees bent, as you perform "figure 8's." If this is too difficult, keep your heels down and lift each foot up at a time as you lace your ball or weight thru. 30-60 sec.
-Heels down, lean back and bring your arms up above your head holding the med ball or weight as you perform tricep over head exercise. You will feel your arms and your core! 30-60 sec.
How did you do?! Perform 2-3 sets, 3 days a week and you will be ready for summer!! Thanks as always for watching!!

Hi everyone!! Here is my Aprill FOX 10 Phoenix fitness segment. Get off the couch and join us for a lower body blast workout!! Here we go!
-Warm-up 3-5 minutes with alternating knees up and down and then transition to lateral hops. You can also do high knees, jog in place and/or mtn climbers for warmup.
-Front, lateral, back lunge. Stay on one side as you perform the lunge sequence and don't forget to breathe! 15-20 reps, then switch sides. 15-20 reps
-Squat to calf raise. Squat down LOW and as you stand, lift your heels into a calf raise. For more intensity, you may add weights as you perform a bicep curl when you squat and tricep kickbacks as you calf raise. 15-20 reps
-Quick kicks. Kick as though you are pushing a door open. Clasp both hands in a face guard position as you kick each leg in front of you while engaging your abs.15-20 reps
-Curtsy lunges. Start in wide stance and bring your left leg behind your right leg; squat down into a curtsy position as you curtsy up and down in place for 30-60 sec. Repeat on other side. Love the burn!!!
-Sumo squats. Stand wide with toes and knees pointing outwards. Squat down low and as you stand back up, squeeze your glutes. 15-20 reps
Perform 2-3 sets of all these exercises. You can do these exercises 2-3 times a week. Make sure to give yourself 24 hours of rest recovery for these muscles to repair themselves before doing "leg blast" again. Enjoy getting TIGHT and RIGHT for the summer!!💪🏽❤️
