At DDS, we treat each and every person that comes to DDS as if they were a member of our family. As you have probably already heard, the death rate for 16 year old drivers has almost doubled over the past 20 years. Once a driver turns 17, the risk drops way off. Why is this? It's due to many reasons, but primarily to inexperience. Well then, how does one get the experience that is needed without d

riving? The answer is in the type of training they receive. If you only train on quiet residential streets and never face real traffic and difficult situations, then you will not be ready for it and more than not luck is the determining factor whether you are in an accident or not. Automobiles are the number one killer of young people in the nation. Yet many people want the easiest, fastest, and cheapest driving course available. It's almost criminal that some driving schools teach only the minimum skills necessary to pass the Department of Transportation road test. As a result, some driving schools only provide minimal training, overload vehicles, and thus charge less. On the other hand, DDS has an up to date vehicle with a 4-wheel anti-lock brakes and a state of the art hydraulic braking system for the instructor for added safety. We use the I.P.D.E. method of defensive driving which will turn an average, new, high risk driver into a safe, defensive, low risk driver. I (Alan Musilek) have always considered training and education as the foundation for any successful endeavor. I received my Driver Education Certification from U.W.- Whitewater in August of 1986 and my Masters of Education in Traffic Safety from the same university in August of 1994. I have over 20 years of teaching experience in the Driver Education field and have never had a student killed that I taught both phases of Driver Education, too. These statistics only apply their graduation from high school as after that it is too difficult to keep track. Very simply, my system works! If you needed a major operation, would you select the cheapest doctor, or would you educate yourself before making your decision? Just letting everyone know of the next two in-person classes coming up for Defensive Driving Specialists. We have one starting in April and another one after school is out in June. Don't let your child go to one of those "schools" that just sit and read the drivers handbook all class period. Give them the best driver education by enrolling them into an interactive, discussion based program that values their opinions and comments which helps them remember what they need for their on-road experience called behind the wheel. I have been teaching for over 40 years and I am sure I have taught a lot of you reading this. Please comment if that is the case. See the flyers attached below and go to my website to sign up. Discounts for multiple children, discounts for children of parents who took my class and also discounts for referring others to my program whether you take my class or not! Don't wait as class sizes are limited by law. This is one subject you DO NOT want your child to be enrolled in a second rate program. I have taught almost 10,000 students to drive ages range from 15 to 94. We have a very short waiting period for issuing permits and btw is fast.
