Corvette ZR1 & ZR1X beat the Mustang GTD around the Nurburgring!

Chevrolet has finally released their official Nurburgring Lap Times from their Z06, ZR1, and ZR1X, with a 6:49.275 lap in the ZR1X, a 6:50.763 lap in the ZR1, and a 7:11.826 lap in the Z06. The most impressive part? Each of these cars were driven by a member of the ZR1's engineering team, making these laps the fastest lap time of any non-professional race car driver ever.

With these times, the ZR1 and ZR1X are officially the fastest American Production Cars around the Ring, taking the title away from Ford with their Mustang GTD.
