TRAILER MECHANIC (5+yrs exp mechanical AND must be able to weld) Please only apply if you have BOTH qualifications.
We are a semi truck and trailer business that has been family owned since 1969.
Below are what we are looking for in our candidate:
*previous mechanical experience
*knowledge of shop equipment and air tools (please note you must have tools)
*strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
*deadline and detail-oriented
*ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
*welding
*ability to follow instruction, work safely, and take pride in ones work
*we do everything at this facility on these tractor trailer heavy duty units EXCEPT for engine and body work. Frame straightening, front end alignments, brakes, airbags, rebush, suspensions, inspections, seals, bearings, springs, king pins and such are some of the work we do here.
*quick study and the ability to learn and be trained in areas like frame and front end
Summary
Trailer Mechanic (5+yrs exp of mechanical and welding required)you will be essential in maintaining and repairing various types of trailers, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills, particularly in diagnostics, air brakes, and hydraulics. You will utilize hand tools and equipment along with your experience with heavy equipment and fabrication will be valuable in addressing complex repairs.
