Taking this original owner 99 TRD supercharged 3RZ Tacoma to the next level with a Haltech 550 ECU and 750cc injectors. It never ran correctly with a hi boost pulley, 7th injector, split second timing/fuel calibrator and a header. It’s making more than double the original output of the supercharger while running smoother than ever and there’s still more power to be had. The ECU is tuned by Gabe at SNP Speed Innovations

It’s been a long road getting the old ASC Sony 4Runner back to being street legal and road worthy. It runs and drives far better than before after a long list of upgrades. Couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than participating in the Richardson Christmas Parade.

The 22R to 3RZ conversion is running like a dream. Time to sort the steering and suspension then prep it to drive on the road. Once the under carriage is sorted it will be taken apart and restored.

If you’ve been to the shop in the last 4 years you’ve probably seen the 1984 4Runner in the back. It is a long term restoration that is getting close to being back on the road. These days it’s very hard to find pictures of the old 4Runner in its glory days but the original owner and builder who sold it in the mid 90’s just sent me some old gold. Big thank you to Thomas Fichter.

It’s been a nice 5 years reviving my personal 1989 4Runner SR5 but it’s on the way to the new owner Allan Stine. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. I am really going to miss this 4Runner.

I just completed this 5th gen transformation from limited to TRD pro. Lifted, chrome deleted, accessorized, lighted with Auxbeam power supply and it’s built just how the customer ordered. Check out the before and after pics.

Back in December I helped to close T&T Hobby shop in Plano, tx which was the longest running RC hobby shop in DFW since the early 1980’s. While I was at the hobby shop I met a couple of Joe Sullivan’s old customers that purchased this Tamiya Bruiser from the original store in 1985. The son Jeremy asked if I would take on the task of restoring the old Bruiser his dad bought for him expressing how much nostalgia there was behind it. Since I am restoring a real life Bruiser and love building rc cars I gladly took on the job. After v***r blasting, replating and preserving as much of the original finish as possibly the truck was ready for pickup today. Cool part is the open sign, door chime, 5 of the display cases and a lot of memorabilia from the original T&T store are now here in The 4Runner House. So for Jeremy and his dad it was like walking into the old store again. Best part is he couldn’t stop grinning when he came to pick it up today and that’s what it’s all about.
