Latest swap project. I get to mark 07k off my list but had to have a curveball in there with ac also and the car ac wiring was mia. I’d say it worked out in the end. Almost ready for the front end and test drive!

The white car is back on the road (again) after making it 8 days on another dq250 trans before shearing off all the teeth on 4/6 drive gear. Got lucky on a toasty dq500 and along with a few other parts and mods we got it done with a pretty good budget swap. No room for a sandwich plate for the cooler so I added a tilton pump, temp switch and inlet and outlet on the pan to help with cooling as much as I can. The car also has 4 inch exhaust and an8 fuel lines from pump all the way up and shows to have plenty of fueling now. It’s been right at a year since we pushed that car into the shop so my test drive Friday night was very satisfying feeling the difference of a dq500 in it vs dq250.
Further tuning and we’ll get some real numbers on this awd swapped typhoon turbo 2 door GTI build.
