I’ve decided to make some changes to my 1971 Super Beetle. I’ve acquired some widened beetle wheels which I have cleaned up and painted. They are not the best, but a great template to test the fitment. Additionally, I have found some nice Hoosier street tires to complete the test fit. As such, I will be adding about two inches of steel to the fenders to fit the look and function. A nice test of my welding technique and ability. Upon success, new wheels will top it off!
