The customer service (cashier) position at Great Scotts is to make sure that every customer receives the best service possible. This is done by accurately processing customer transactions, being knowledgeable of products within the store, making sure that the store is clean and the shelves are stocked. We value uncompromising and personalized service.
Duties:
1. Providing exceptional customer service to everyone who visits our store.
2. Greeting customers as they enter, provide courteous assistance when needed, and be show a positive attitude at all times.
3. Performing transactions as quickly and accurately as possible.
4. Be knowledgeable about products within the store as well as all promotions.
5. Build awareness of everything we offer in store and at the pump.
6. Accurately ringing up all sales tickets and merchandise, offering qualifying discounts/promotions, informing customer of retail amount, processing/accepting payment, and thanking customer.
7. Balancing shift reports and accurately accounting for all monies and purchase during your shift.
8. Maintaining store cleanliness: waiting room, exterior store front, and hourly bathroom inspections.
9. Properly rotating product and stocking shelving, coolers, and displays as necessary.
Requirements:
1. Be happy! Outgoing and friendly attitude
2. Maintain a clean and presentable appearance
3. Customer service experience (preferred)
4. Be available to work weekends
Physical Requirements:
1. Be able to stand for an extended period of time.
2. Movement frequently requires standing, walking, bending, twisting; reaching, and kneeling or crouching.
3. Must frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
