Got a nail or screw in your tire? At Bowles Complete Autocare, we don’t always reach for a traditional tire plug.

Instead, when the tire is repairable, we prefer an inside patch, and there’s a good reason why.

A traditional plug is inserted from the outside and can get you back on the road, but an inside patch allows us to inspect the inside of the tire first, make sure there isn’t any additional damage, and properly seal the puncture from the inside.

That means:

✅ Better inspection of the tire
✅ A more secure, long-lasting repair
✅ Helps prevent air from escaping around the puncture
✅ Allows us to check for internal damage you can’t see from the outside

Your tires are the only thing connecting your vehicle to the road. We’d rather take the extra time to repair them the right way when possible.

It looks like an important symbol, but what is an ASE Certification exactly?

This is one of those things that you don't know unless you know. The short of it is yes, it is important.

ASE Certification, also known as Automotive Service Excellence, is the certification granted to an automotive technician who has completed the required training and obtained their Automotive Service Excellence Certified Master Technicians requirements. This means they are qualified to work on every mechanical, electrical component, and system in a vehicle.

When a customer brings their vehicle in for repairs, they want to know their car is being fixed by a reputable professional. Customers trust the Automotive Service Excellence Certification seal because they know their mechanic is a master in vehicle repair.

When the ASE Seal is displayed outside of a service station, customers know there is at least one mechanic in the building with the best automotive education available. They know their vehicle is in good hands and will be repaired with the best craftsmanship possible.
