Good morning! Many of you have discovered that we are running half days right now until further notice. Due to some family issues our hours and operating days will be fluctuating until we have a set amended schedule. Family first should be everyone's motto and it sure is ours. Wolford Auto Repair will be resuming credit card payments but a 3.5% fee will be added. After looking at our books we are eating $250-$300 in fees per month and it is just not feasible anymore. Cash is also welcome but NO CHECKS!!! Hope everyones New Year was great and we appreciate your business!!

This right here should bot look like this. This is oil sludge and it is a result of poor maintenance. Due to this the intake camshaft phaser burned up. This engine only has 50,000 miles on it. The owner bought it with 35,000 miles on it and I have been responsible for the maintenance. The previous owner neglected this vehicle. This is a wake up call to stay on time with oil changes. Oil sludge blocks oil passages and interferes with engine performance. Luckily we caught it before it became a major issue. Oil flush by Liquimoly will help clean this up but it will have to be done at every oil change for possibly a year.

They was not kidding when they claimed it would hold a rotor on the side of the lift. This is the new ICON magnet mat. I have been waiting for this to come out for 3 months. Available from Harbor Freight.

Peeve of the day......
Dont call 1 hour before your appointment and cancel with a BS story that as a mechanic I can debunk within seconds. Ghosting me the day before doesnt help eitherr. Had a AC compressor job scheduled and had called customer the day before to verify details on her car with no answer. Call early this morning with no answer. Left message that if your not going to show up please call so I can move up another job. Then I get a call back and customer said "I have a friend that is going to look at it again because he thinks it isnt the compressor but it has a leak". Ok, well when I filled it a week ago and tried to get your compressor to work and it didnt and I spent the extra time making sure it wasnt anything else kinda determined its a compressor. I understand people have things come up or whatever but don't BS me because that just demonstrates the disrespect and insults my intelligence.
