Since 1984 we have seen hundreds, if not thousands of extremely unique vehicles and jobs. This uniqueness has both carved our niche and allowed us to acquire experience that many other shops simply can not offer. We plan to document and share more of the awesome Mercedes-Benz and Sprinters we get to see, as well as some of the jobs we do to enhance the customer experience.

Starting with this engine swap. Believe it or not, this is the easiest part after over 10 hours of disassembly of the engine components, and reinstalling the usable components on the replacement engine. We hope you enjoy the videos we post going forward!

To our wonderful customers:

We hope you and your family are taking the necessary precautions during these uncertain times. We are writing to inform you of how Star Import Service will be handling our response to the Virus.

Star Import Service will be opening for normal business hours Monday thru Friday at 8am (unless otherwise noted). Due to the nature of our business, we will be working on a demand basis and therefore will not have a set closing time; this will be determined by the level of demand we receive on a particular day and our existing workload. Rest assured, this will not occur before noon on any day, unless otherwise noted. We request that all customers call prior to visiting our location. This will allow us to plan our resources for the day.

In addition to adjusting basic operations, service processes will be adjusted. Vehicle seats and steering wheel's will be sanitized after the completion of your service to assist in preventing the spread of the Virus. We have instructed our technicians to wear gloves while driving customer vehicles as well.

As information and government recommendations change, we will update you all with the procedures will will follow!

We understand car troubles occur at the most inopportune moments, and for this we have a couple of options to offer customers:
