The man. Well done, Aaron!

Aaron Stanfield is officially a licensed Top Fuel driver. 🔥 The Pro Stock superstar and reigning World Series of Pro Mod champ climbed into Leah Pruett’s TSR dragster today at Texas Motorplex and went 3.760 at 281.83 mph to check the final box. Pro Stock, Pro Mod and now nitro.

Round one of the NHRA Texas FallNationals came with some big WOW moments, starting with a gigantic, top speed of the meet 185.80 mph pass for David Janac in the Janac Brothers Racing Cobra Jet Mustang. Although the e.t. didn’t get around that of COPO pilot Scott Libersher, it was a strong end to Janac’s 2026 campaign, and we’re looking forward to building on that over the winter to come out even better for the next season.

Raymond Nash’s red light in his Drag Pak gave Matt Hartman an automatic win, but for emphasis, the driver of the Hartman Racing COPO Camaro improved upon his qualifying best with a 7.577 at 181.10 mph. When young Hartman’s father, Martin, Mich., winner Lee Hartman, defeated Kurt Urban with a 7.562, 171.47, it set up the first Hartman family raceday meeting in Factory Stock Showdown history. Father will have lane choice over son in the quarterfinals.

No. 1 qualifier Doug Duell and his OnFire Dodge Challenger Drag Pak earned the bye run and used it to set up for a second-round match with Libersher.

On one side of the ladder, Hartman vs. Hartman battling for a bye into the final. On the other side of the ladder, Duell vs. Libersher. Let’s do this, boys!

THAT’S A FIRST NO. 1 QUALIFIER FOR DOUG DUELL! The driver of the DLD Motorsports entry wheeled the OnFire Dodge Challenger Drag Pak to a spectacular 7.559 at 182.82 mph in qualifying to lock down the top spot. Our congratulations go out to Doug and his fantastic crew: Kevin Helms, Lane Gortney, Max Gorton, and Mat Wright, you’ve all done a great job all season. Doug, you’ve done great in your first year in one of these wild Factory Stock Showdown cars, and it’s awesome to see you close it out with top quallifying honors.

Flexjet • NHRA Factory Stock Showdown

The first day of qualifying for the Flexjet NHRA Factory Stock Showdown brought some big numbers for the Stanfield Racing Engines team, with Doug Duell and his DLD Motorsports Dodge Drag Pak leading the charge with a 7.562-second pass at 182.72 mph. He's No. 1 with that solid run, while Lee Hartman is No. 2 on a 7.578, 192.79 in his Carrier Services Group Drag Pak. Young Matt Hartman celebrated his birthday with 7.609, 177.86 that put him in the No. 3 spot in his Hartman Racing COPO Camaro, and David Janac's 7.670, 184.96 came with a top speed of the meet 184.96 mph. He's No. 8 tonight in his Janac Brothers Racing Cobra Jet Mustang.

Only one session today, but tomorrow we're slated for two more before eliminations begin. Stay tuned!

Congratulations to Doug Duell on a semifinals performance on Sunday at World Wide Technology Raceway! A career-best 7.534 in the second round of eliminations earns a BIG round of applause for this great racer. Thanks for being part of the Stanfield Racing Engines family, Doug!

LEE HARTMAN GETS IT DONE!

Congratulations are in order for a very hard-fought win today!!! Mr. Hartman is having an extraordinary weekend in his Carrier Services Group Dodge Challenger Drag Pak, and in addition to resetting the national record AGAIN with an INSANE 7.511-second pass in his Stanfield Racing Engines-powered Dodge, the win light turned on in his lane in the delayed Dodge Great Lakes Nationals final round over Stanfield Racing Engines teammate David Janac.

This very special victory marks Hartman’s first Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown win in his fourth final round, and he sweetened the deal by solidifying a second-consecutive start from the No. 1 position for Midwest Nationals eliminations. Please join us in congratulating Lee, his crew, and the entire Hartman family on a job well done!
