This is not just a slogan, we really do put the racer first. This is proven by the fact that we encourage you to call day or night, weekends, and even holidays. We know that not everything happens from 9 to 5 Monday through Friday. Our goal is to keep you running and get you to the track so you never miss a race due to transmission problems. A perfect example of this is when one of our customers w

as competing in a two day race. He had a drive shaft break which in turn broke the transmission. He called us late that first night to make arrangements, he arrived at the shop at 4am and was done and gone in time to compete the second day. We have never had a customer miss getting to their race due to a transmission related issue. Joe has over 40 years experience building transmissions. A large number of those years were in Lancaster County, PA. After moving to Tioga County, PA in 2002 we started Joe Willcox Performance Automatics in the home garage in 2005. We are a very small one man shop specializing in racing and performance transmissions and we fully intend to stay small. With only one man doing the work there is never a question as to who did what to your transmission. We offer personal service with a man who knows you, your transmission, what your goals are, and what he can do to help you achieve those goals. We do Falcon, Bert, Bert 2nd gen, and Brinn. Rem coating is also available upon request. We are proud to say we are now an authorized Brinn repair facility. Turn around time is also very important, our average is 1 to 3 days. Don’t let our location stand in the way, shipping is available at a reasonable cost. For you guys who prefer to do your own work, please keep in mind that we welcome your questions and have parts in stock in case you need something. If we don’t have it parts can be here in a day or two in most cases.

Just wanted to give everyone an update on Joe's condition. We have a little bit of a bumpy road but we will be fine. After meeting with the doctors in Rochester we think we are in very good hands. Joe's feeling good and not in any physical pain so that's a good thing. Thank you all for your prayers and concerns and keep them coming please, we appreciate every single prayer, thought, comment, concern, offer of help, all of it. We are not sure if we will be at the car show this year but please know that we will be back at Woodhull for certain, sponsoring the Street Stocks and doing what we can to support Woodhull Raceway.

The morning after thoughts. What an awesome night! Thanks going out to all who participated in, helped get sponsors, collected lap money and who were connected in any way at all to last night's race. It was incredible and we were thrilled with the turnout.
Like many of you, at the end of the year we kick around the idea of throwing in the towel for next year. The unmeasurable support from all of you has made us want to make this bigger yet for next year! As long as we don't move we will be back and will start off running by collecting Gold Sponsors from day one! It will be epic.
Something we'd like to mention is that this race was the brainchild of Jeff Smith "Wild Thing" and Joe many years ago. Jeff wanted a special race for the street stocks and between the two of them they came up with the Woodhull 100. So if you know Jeff, send him a little thank you message! I'm sure it will make his day!

All the laps on the Woodhull 100 have been filled and we are ready to double up!
Jon Stuart as always has done a phenomenal job reaching out and getting sponsors, keeping everyone updated on Facebook and taking payments.
Our Street Stock drivers who went the extra mile in securing lap sponsors:
Mike Spencer brought in a whopping 44 lap sponsors, Luke Boom had 6, and Glenn Whritenour and Brian Butler are tied at 4.
Thanks to every single person or business who is a Gold Sponsor or who helped in anyway to secure Gold Sponsors. Street Stock drivers again stepped up to help with this segment as well, they include Clayton McClain, Brian Butler, Mike Spencer, and Dale Houghtaling.

Full attention is now on the Woodhull 100!
Come to the fan booth at Woodhull Raceway Saturday night and secure your lap. Lab sponsors start at $25 with speciality laps at $50. With the money raised from the Gold Sponsors, plus lap money, this is on track to be the biggest paying Street Stock Race in the Northeast!

Our full focus is now on the Woodhall 100 race on September 20th. The board is now on display in the Woodhull fan booth. We have lots of laps to fill. Jon Stuart is hard at work, as always, securing lap sponsors, and you can see Joe or Jean Willcox as well to get your name on the board. Laps 1 thru 100 are a minimum of $25. There are speciality laps available for a minimum of $50.
