At age 15, Tipton has a passion for go-kart racing and loves every chance to hit the track. When he’s not racing, you can usually find him out on the lake in his airboat or mud boat.

Congratulations to Kaden Hughes on his 2026 DOUBLE CHAMPIONSHIPS in JUNIOR 1 & JUNIOR CHAMP🏆
Behind the wheel of the #18 kart in the Jr 1 and Jr Champ classes, Kaden Hughes has become a standout competitor in dirt go-kart racing. He started his career at Original Speedway Park three years ago as a rookie and proudly says that is his home track. He has earned respect for his speed, determination, and championship-winning performances. Known for his aggressive but controlled driving style, Kaden consistently battles at the front of the field and thrives under pressure. His dedication has helped him achieve success with some of the top racers in the country on some of the toughest dirt tracks in the region. As the 2025 Florida Karting Series Jr 1 Champion, Kaden continues to chase checkered flags and build a legacy one lap at a time. He has the support of a dedicated team and sponsors with a big shout out to, Daniel Ballew with Ballew Tire Solutions

Congratulations to Todd Miller! Our 2026 points champion in the Ducar class.🏆

Todd started racing Quarter Midgets at age 10 and moved into dirt karts at 17 when he and his dad discovered the Original Speedway Park. Racing Yamaha Stock Appearing with motors built by Marty Ruser, he won several championships before taking what he likes to call a short 28-year break.

During that break, Todd managed to squeeze in college, marriage, three kids, and years of coaching his sons’ soccer teams. Five years ago, the racing bug brought him right back to the Original Speedway Park and, fittingly, back to racing with his dad.

Todd would especially like to thank his dad for the countless hours and MONEY he puts into their racing addiction, his wife for tolerating all those weekends away in pursuit of trophies and now his third championship jacket!

Join us in congratulating Kyle Riggs, our 2026 Super Heavy Class Champion 🏆
Born and raised in Crystal River, Florida, Kyle bought his first go-kart the day he graduated high school and ran his very first race right here at OSP in 2016!
He raced regularly until 2021, then took a step back, making occasional appearances at the track. This past season, his oldest daughter said she wanted to start racing, inspiring Kyle to climb back into a kart himself—just for fun!
That return turned into a season to remember, with Kyle bringing home the Super Heavy points championship! He’s proud of the accomplishment and happy to be back at the track.

Congratulations to Maverick Stone on his 2026 championship win in the Winged Outlaw class🏆

Maverick is 9 years old and competes in both winged cage karts and Jr. Sprint cars. When he’s not at the racetrack, Mav loves traveling with his family and visiting theme parks. He enjoys going on adventures just as much as he enjoys turning laps at the track!

Mav’s biggest dream is to become a professional sprint car driver when he grows up. For now, he’s focused on learning, improving, and making the most of every opportunity behind the wheel. Keep an eye out for Mav as he continues chasing his dreams, one lap at a time!

Congratulations to Preston Arbogast for winning the 2026 points championship in Box Stock Heavy 🏆

Preston is a 3rd generation dirt track racer, both his dad and grandfather raced when younger. He is a senior in High school this year and for his racing accomplishments he was 5th in the World 100 last year, 2 time Jr. 3 champion at OSP and he just finished 4th at the Maxxis Nationals. This wouldn't be possible without the help from Brian Skutt and Jim with CHEMICAL WARFARE.

Congratulations to Zach Conway on becoming a 2026 DOUBLE CHAMPION in both BOX STOCK MEDIUM & TREADED MEDIUM🏆🏆
He carries on the family dirt racing tradition. Although Zach’s Grandfather raced motorcycles, Zach began focusing on Clone Medium dirt oval kart racing in 2021. Since then, he has built an impressive record, capturing nine track points series champioships at various tracks throughout North Florida. In 2025, Zach made Original Speedway Park his primary focus while continuing to compete in the Florida Karting Series and races at other tracks throughout the region. His dedication and focus paid off as he captured both the Clone Medium and Medium Tread Track Championships at Original Speedway Park.
In 2026, Zach continued his winning ways, successfully defending both titles and once again being crowned our Clone Medium and Medium Tread Track Champion! Zach didn’t make these achievements all by himself. With the help and guidance of Radical Racing Engines/TJ Newton Motorsports, Zach has proven he's a force to be reckoned with on the dirt oval—and he has no plans of slowing down!

Join us in congratulating Donnie Large, our Senior Champ Points Champion at The Original Speedway Park!
Donnie has been racing since 1986—40 years behind the wheel! His racing résumé includes SIX championships: three on asphalt and three on dirt.
3 with the Florida Oval and Asphalt Series (FOAS), 1 with FKA, 1 with the Florida Champ Kart League & 1 with the Florida Dirt Summer Series.
After collecting wins in a Rage kart, Donnie also celebrated his first championship in an Ultramax here at OSP.
His 2026 accomplishments also include: 2nd in the Pro Senior Champ Vega Series & 3rd in the Senior Champ Vega Series.
🇺🇸 Beyond racing, Donnie dedicated 20 years to active duty in the U.S. Air Force and 25 years to civil service—a total of 45 years of service, including nine months serving during Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Thank you for your service.
