Got the opportunity to jump at the Rocky Mountain Offroad Expo presented by the Grand Mesa Jeep Club. It was a great show with a swap meet and lots of awesome vendors. We had fun in the mud and put on a great show. We love to see lots of spectators watching the offroad area and appreciate everyone who comes out to support us and the offroad community. A good friend of mine races his Jeep in Offroad Races, like Baja, the Mint, and a bunch of others in the Jeep Speed class, which falls under other names at various races. The Jeep is based off a Jeep TJ, and has a good mix of OEM, and race parts. He came to me to change out the worn out splined steering wheel shaft for a removable wheel. Then we found the upper bearing was worn out on the stock jeep column. Late night on a Sunday, we decided to just build a new steering column, since pieces were falling out of the old stock Jeep one. I found two pieces of tubing that fit nicely together, and a bearing to fit in the larger piece. Long story short in a few hours we had the old steering column out and a new one built and installed in a few hours. eazY-Peazy!

Still making skull shift k***s. This one went to AZ, last week. They are the name sake of this page and I built the first one many years ago. Bonehead Customz was officially started in 2008 after I broke my back, and was limited on what I could pick up. I dropped off all the heavy stuff, and made a bunch of shift k***s over the next several years, then slowed down as I was able to work on heavier projects.
