The Ford Focus team has won 5 championships. Tim Skoglund won 2 championships back to back 2006 & 2007 which consisted of 12 main event wins. Cody Gerhardt won 3 championships in 2010, the Western Pavement, Norhtern Pavemnet, and Southern Pavement. Western Speed Racing has now won the 2011 Western Ford Focus championship, and 2nd place in the nation. The team also won 2 Sprint championships in 20

04 & 2005 with Tony Hunt, & Michael Lewis. And Nick Faas won the Midget Western States Championship in 2008 in his rookie year. The team faciliates young up and coming drivers, and provides full race ready cars to further their career. And that’s a wrap on the Battle at the Brickyard for 2026 NASCAR Youth Series!
Weston fought his way to A mains on Saturday, didn’t get the win but he did in our eyes. The biggest battle was the extreme heat and humidity and all these kids still raced their hearts out.
We are super proud of our little driver and thank you everyone across the country for their support and encouragement!
We’ll see you at the Bricks in 2027 🏁

What a day!! Finishing it off with our 1st National Heat race win in Light 160 with a LAST LAP PASS! 🏁 One of the best parts of that race was all of the clean racing while battling for their spots!

You can watch heat races live starting on Wednesday on NASCAR Youth Series YouTube page. We will try our best to post updates with what heat races he will be in. We’ve spent many years racing at Turkey Night, God Speed Irwindale Speedway. Made some lasting memories with family and friends.
This year we’re spending Thanksgiving at Silver State Winter Nationals in Las Vegas with over 300 quarter midgets drivers traveling from across the country. Weston Hickman Racing will be participating in his first Winter Nationals, good luck buddy🏁
