I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend. Our next event weekend is Halloween weekend on September 26th. However, there are going to be some changes. Unfortunately the Manchester family and other key volunteer families who set up the haunted rec hall are struggling with health issues. So for this year, there will be no haunted rec hall.
However, trick or treating and the hay ride are still a go! There will be extra hay rides in the dark and hopefully we can have some volunteers to jump out and scare along the hay ride route. I’ll keep y’all posted if any other changes come up. Have a great week.

Thank you to everyone who put their lot numbers on their pontoons still in storage. What a huge help! There are three items however that are not claimed. Two old pontoons and one jet ski. I’ll give the owners three more days to claim these until they go to the scrap yard. If the owners claim these, here’s the deal, they must be removed from Lakewood’s property.

Just a reminder that by the end of this weekend any boat or jet ski without a lot number on it will be considered abandoned and hauled off to scrap. Please spread the word. Thanks!

Good morning everyone! It’s that time of year that I turn my attention to the pontoon storage yard and try to clean it up. I am asking that if you have a pontoon, fishing boat, or jet ski, that you would please put your lot number somewhere visible. It could be just a simple sticker, or you could write your lot number on it with a sharpie or paint marker. This needs to be done by August 1st. After august 1st Pontoons will be charged $300 and jet skis & fishing boats $150 summer storage. Any boat without a lot number will be assumed abandoned and be sold or taken to scrap. I’m sure there are a few items that are abandoned.
If you have something and want to get rid of it, please let me know. I would be happy to sell it for you or put you in contact with people on the hunt for fixer uppers. Please spread the word! Thank you!

Happy 4th everyone! Thank you to all those who decorated their cart for the golf cart parade. Island vibe will be playing tonight at the rec hall from 8-11.

Also, we are in need of volunteers to run some of the games at Sunday funday. If no more people volunteer by tonight some of the games will be cut. If you would like to volunteer please see Justin at lot 41!
