The four corners of a vehicle are some of the most vulnerable places to be damaged on a vehicle because it’s where a lot of parts come together I.e. the lender, the bumper the headlamp, but there isn’t much structural support there. This is where hidden damage can play a major part in repair costs because in these types of impacts there almost always is.

This car came to us after the customer had taken it to shop that tried lifting the vehicle in the wrong place. They mistook the lift point locations and rather than jacking the vehicle by the designated areas lifted it instead by the bottom of the doors requiring both of them to be replaced.

This customer was paying out of pocket and authorized us to use aftermarket parts to help keep the cost of her repair down. Fortunately because we’ve worked hard to build and maintain strong relationships with our network of parts suppliers over the past 44 years we were able to secure factory parts at the aftermarket price. It’s difficult to do, and It doesn’t always work out that way, as each repair is subjective to the extent of the damage as well as the year, make and model of vehicle. But it makes our job that much easier using OEM rather than aftermarket components during a repair and we’re more than happy to leverage the business partnerships we’ve developed over these many years to the benefit of our customers.
