Who's going to the Christmas Parade this Saturday?
The City of Destin’s 35th annual Christmas Parade is Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 10am. This year’s theme is “Santa’s Workshop”. The floats will start at Downtown Destin Shopping Center (Old Time Pottery) and travel west down Harbor Blvd. (Hwy 98) to Stahlman Avenue.

Trash left on our beaches or thrown in our oceans negatively impacts our environment and even tourism. Fish, birds, sea turtles, and marine mammals can become entangled in or ingest plastic debris, causing suffocation, starvation, and drowning.
NOAA's Marine Debris Program Art Contest is a fun way to teach kids (K - 8th grade) about the importance of keeping our beaches clean and free from debris. Entries are due by November 30, 2019. Click on the link to learn more about marine debris and the contest.
