Cars and parts from Race Car Replicas have been a part of plenty of movies. One of the latest movies they had a hand in is the most recent film in the Fast & Furious franchise, "F9".
In this movie, Vin Diesel drives his usual iconic 2nd gen Charger. Except this one isn't really his usual- this time it's got a Hellcat in the back seat! That's right, a mid-engined, supercharged, Hemi Charger!
For this car built by SpeedKore for the movie, RCR created the one-off adapter to mate the current generation blown Hemi to the familiar Graziano 6-speed transaxle that RCR supplies to it's regular customers. Shifting duties are handled by the RCR billet gated shifter. Once the drivetrain was connected, RCR created the rear suspension for the Charger, as the car was changed from a solid axle to independent rear suspension, similar in this case to the suspension design on it's popular Superlite Cars SL-C.
Race Car Replicas is more than than just real-life cars you can build and drive. It's also part fantasy car-builder as well! Check out the article below for more details.
