As we enjoy the final long weekend of summer, we want to remind everyone to take a little extra care on the road. More travelers, celebrations, construction zones, motorcycles and pedestrians mean staying alert behind the wheel is especially important.

🚗 Buckle up — every trip, every seat.
📵 Put the phone down and keep your attention on the road.
🍺 If you drink, plan a safe ride home.
⏱️ Give yourself a little extra time and don’t rush.
👀 Watch carefully for motorcycles, bicycles and pedestrians.

For more than 60 years, the Traffic Safety Association of Macomb County has been committed to making our community safer through education, prevention and responsible driving.

From helping new drivers build safe habits through Driver Education to providing traffic safety and prevention programs throughout our community, safety is at the heart of everything we do.
