Position Description
Technicians at Down Home Diesel are required to diagnose and repair customer concerns on all diesel pick up truck systems including engine, drivetrain, braking, electric and emissions systems. Technicians also install a wide range of aftermarket accessories on diesel pick up trucks.

-$35 to $45 per hour/hourly pay

Do you like helping others? Growing things? Feeling appreciated? So do we and we are searching for a service writer/ office manager to come join us and help us grow. We are a light duty diesel truck shop that focuses on taking care of people needs to the best of our ability and using our skill set to help in any way we can. A typical day's work involves scheduling, estimates, customer calls, inventory management and ordering. Monday-Friday work week, paid holidays and paid vacation. Hourly pay with overtime if interested. Pay between $25-$35 per hour and based on experience. Know diesel pick up trucks like the back of your hand? We have a spot for you. Monday-Friday work week, overtime if your into that. Paid holidays, paid vacation, personal days and sick days. Only interested in experience, less than 5 years is not an option. If you have not worked on Ford, Chevrolet, or Dodge diesel pick up trucks we are not interested. Pay between $35-$45 per hour. We are looking to add two more techs to work with us. We specialize in Duramax, Cummins and Powerstroke engine work as well as other drivetrain repairs. Monday-Friday schedule. Paid Holidays, overtime(if wanted) and vacation time. Prefer experience but encourage anyone with a positive attitude and ambition to get in touch with us. After countless conversations with others about how there is no help out in the world today and no one wants to work I just can’t believe it. More people and jobs than ever before. I am convinced there are at least a handful of people who want to accomplish something at the end of the day and build a better future for themselves. I believe there are still people who want to work for what they have and get satisfaction from the work they can provide to help others. If you are one of these people or know someone like this please reach out to us. I can’t offer a job where you can kick back and relax while others send in their tax money to pay your wages but I can provide a job where your appreciated and give you the opportunity to help others with skills you have and the skill set you can grow. I believe we are here on earth to work and it is spoken of many times through out the Bible. Down Home Diesel is now searching for qualified light duty truck diesel mechanics. Position will require you to have a strong background with Diesel engines, electrical systems and light fabrication. Must provide own tools, have valid drivers license, and ability to hold a full time position. Paid vacation time starts after one year. Clothing allowance received after three months of employment. To keep up with the work load and keep the business growing we are looking to add on another member to the shop. We are looking for a person with strong experience in the Diesel industry and must have an array of knowledge on Diesel pick up trucks. We offer competitive pay and work Monday-Friday.
