This is a good article about a study on motorcycle crashes from a few years back. The long and short of it is we as motorcyclists need to improve our skill levels. We are to blame more than we like to admit when a crash or near crash occurs. Looking ahead far enough, proper baking, cornering and other skills could be greatly improved by either more practice in a parking lot somewhere or in a structured course.
