We don’t work on a whole lot of gas Engines but when we do it, it’s always something special.
This is actually one of our own trucks (yes… a mechanics truck can break too!).
We recently picked up this truck for a pretty good deal (given today’s truck market) knowing that we had a misfire on cylinder four. Pulled out the spark plug sent the borescope down and that’s what we found! Something clearly got into the cylinder! That’s OK we bought the truck knowing that we would probably have to put a motor in it 😆

Just a simple reminder
Diagnostic is billed hourly that whether it’s for emergencies or scheduled appointments

If we show up and you’ve already ripped in the half your truck or your batteries are dead or you’re out of fuel and we have to spend extra time to either get your batteries charged or put it back together so that we can run accurate testing you’re paying for that time. I tell people all the time don’t mess with your truck if you don’t know what you’re doing because chances are you will probably create more issues along the way.

Now, we’re primarily a diesel repair company, but many of our customers operate mixed fleets. When a recall could affect their work trucks, we like to pass the information along.

Ford is recalling more than 223,000 model-year 2023–2027 F-150s because improperly secured fuel-tank straps could allow the tank to leak or detach. If your fleet operates one of these trucks, check the VIN at NHTSA.gov/recalls. Recall inspections and repairs are performed by Ford at no charge.

Use our VIN lookup tool to check for recalls on your car, or search by make and model. Our databases also list car seats, tires, and equipment recalled for unreasonable safety risk or failing to meet minimum safety standards.

⛽ DIESEL JUST HIT $6 A GALLON ⛽

Unfortunately, operating a fully equipped mobile service truck isn’t getting any cheaper. Fuel has climbed more than 70 cents in the past month, while parts deliveries, fluids, tires, and practically everything else required to keep trucks moving are increasing right along with it.

Effective immediately, The Diesel Man Mobile Repair & Fleet Services will be adjusting mileage and callout fees.
Our mileage rate is now 1.50 a mile on all service calls not in the city limits of Colorado Springs or Pueblo.

Our call out fee will now be 55.00

We’re not raising prices just for the hell of it. At $6 per gallon an hours worth of driving gets pretty expensive pretty quick

Previously authorized work will still be honored at the agreed price. New and expired estimates will reflect current operating costs.

Also guys once the price of diesel drops we can drop the mileage and call out fee pricing.

We appreciate the customers who understand that bringing professional diesel repair directly to your truck costs real money. We’ll continue providing honest diagnostics, professional repairs, and dependable mobile service throughout southeastern Colorado, Pueblo, Colorado Springs, and beyond.
