Race recap for this week at Anderson Motor Speedway. It’s been a year of change at Anderson with heat races this year so it jumbles up the cars with different speeds. For the most part heat races have been really clean this year and but it has been a challenge try to manage bad draws but hopefully the fans like it. This week Damon ended up starting p15 and finished p13. Zach started p9 and got up to p6 before getting into the walk late and ending up p14. Dawson started p14 and got his first top 5 of his young legend car season. Cory had a fast car starting p5 and getting to p4 before getting wrecked on lap 5. Mitchell started p8 and worked his way to the lead after dodging a few wrecks and went on to win. Big shout out to Eric Mentnech on starting p18 and finishing p8 to pick up his first Masters division win. We want to thank all sponsors that’s in evolved with getting us to and from the track with the cost of everything and I mean everything going up racing is tough not only for the racers but the fans as well. We appreciate the help and all the fans that support racing.

Race recap from Friday night. Started off rough with electrical issues on Zach’s car which we never really got fixed. Wasn’t because of effort we literally changed everything then a battery issue on the start of the heat for Dawson. All that said Zach couldn’t finish with the electrical issues and Dawson after having to start 14th in the main had a good race and finished p8 in a good field of race cars. Damon started p12 and finished p15. Cory started p10 and finished p11. Mitchell started p2 and after a really competitive race with Carson Youngblood for most of the race Mitchell ended up with the win after pretty much a month off with the birth of his son Walker. Mitchell’s wife Caitlin and Walker came down after the race for a victory lane photo. We had a ton of cars come through the pits with flat tires bent bumpers that we got back into the race some with cars we work on and some with other teams where we helped get them back in the race. Not sure how many divisions actually help there competition get back in the show but we do what we can. For the fans out there take notice of some of these kids out in the legends class that are getting good. All 16 or younger Dawson McClellan, Carson Youngblood, Kasen Barrett, Bryce Butterworth, Noah Barrett, Hudson Barrett, Edison Carter and Grayson Pendley. It’s starting to remind me a little of the late 90’s when there was some up and coming kids coming through. Like Jonathan Davenport, David Reagan, Reed Sorensen, and Chris Buscher that came through these ranks and fan here at Anderson some.

Race recap for Friday April 17th at Anderson Motor Speedway. Mitchell was absent on the night with the baby due date being Saturday. (Still no baby) but we had Dawson McClellan, Bryce Butterworth, Zach Cameron, Damon Burdette and Cory Parham there along with the other cars we support at the track so we had a busy night. Dawson strayed p6 and ended up in an accident on lap 3 we got him back out to finish p10. Zach started p11 and finished p9. Bryce got in cloves in an accident on lap 2 that ended his night early. Cory started p3 and got to p2 early but ended up p4. Damon started p14 and ended up p13. Shout out to Carson Youngblood on his first overall main win at Anderson. The class is really building at Anderson with some really good youngsters coming on.

Wishing everyone a Happy Easter. Race recap for the weekend is a little short this week with the short notice of a race schedule change. Mitchell started p6 and and took the lead on lap6 and went on to win. Zach Cameron started p3 and after getting involved in a wreck ended up with p11 after having some damage. Cory Parham started p2 and led some laps early before finishing p4. We will be back next Friday night at Anderson Motor Speedway.

Race recap for March 27th at Anderson Motor Speedway. After 27 cars signed in the track this year has went to heat races with a computer draw it jumbles up the starting order. But it’s been ok so far it teaches you how to pass slower cars and slower cars are learning how to race the faster cars. But all in all we had a great night. Bryce Butterworth started p22 and finished p15 Damon Burdette started p24 and finished p20 Dawson McClellan started p16 and finished p11 Zach Cameron started p12 and finished p10 Cory Parham started p9 and finished p7 and Mitchell Thompson started p3 and finished p2. With the 27 car field and a good field of cars all finished better than they started and no big damage makes it a great night. We will be back in action this Saturday night at Anderson.

Both ends of the spectrum. One in victory lane and one upside down in turn 3. Friday night we showed up with 5 cars from our shop and several more cars we help at the track. With this being the regular season opener at Anderson Motor Speedway we had 20 cars in the Legends division. The new schedule this year has classes running heat races so things are a little different. This was a stacked group of fast cars this weekend. We have several new drivers this year running out of the T55 shop. Zach Cameron in the #14 started p15 and finished p12 his 3rd race. Bryce Butterworth #21 started p16 and finished p13 in his first ever race of any kind. Damon Burdette #65 started p18 and finished p17 Dawson McClellan #80 started p10 and was involved in a wreck on lap 7 in only his 2nd start which got him on his top flipping a few times. Dawson was banged up a little but all of a good and will be back this week in action. Mitchell Thompson #55 started p3 and finished p1 getting his 2nd win of the year at Anderson. We also help several more cars and teams at the track it looks like this will be a busy year for sure.!

Race day tomorrow at Anderson Motor Speedway. Tomorrow Dawson McClellan makes his debut in Legends in the number 80. Damon Burdette #65, Zach Cameron in the #14, Cory Parham #5 and an outside shot for Mitchell to make for the main only. Should be a busy day.

First race weekend for T55 Motorsports and it was filled with some ups and downs. Damon ran Friday starting 20th and finishing 16th. Cory started 9th and finished 5th on the first night. Both of them decided that they would take Saturday off. Zach Cameron in only his second race on Friday started 14th and finished with a top 10 and had a clean race. On Saturday he had a few problems where he couldn’t finish the heat so starting in the rear he got caught up in an early crash. Mitchell after setting quick time in 2 of the 3 practices on Friday qualified 2nd then won his heat putting him on the outside front row only to have a broken spindle bolt take him out at the beginning of the race. On Saturday he was quickest in practice and qualified on the pole started 4th after running 2nd in the inverted heat race so he started 4th. Worked his way to the lead on lap 5 then was involved in a wreck on a restart so had to go to the rear and then got all the way back to the lead but with 2 to go slipped up and ended up 2nd. A lot learned this weekend.
