The first two races for the Eel River Transportation & Salvage Dirt 4 Bangers have seen an interesting mix of new and experienced drivers competing against each other. The division's first race on July 26 saw "Thunder Hawk" a new driver take the victory while veteran driver David Furia dominated the most recent feature on August 16.

The division is great whether you're a first-time racer at Redwood Acres Raceway or a veteran hoping to return to driving. It cost less than $1,000 to field a car. We look forward to the Dirt 4 Bangers competing in the final two races of 2025 and seeing the division grow in 2026.

Eel River Transportation and Salvage is a family-owned recycling center in Fortuna. They offer numerous services, such as disposal services for either onsite drop off or provide dumpsters for all metals, green waste, and construction debris. "We also perform demolition projects, towing services, and vehicle disposal. We have been a long-standing business in the community for roughly 10 or more years. Dominick and Dino Hardin have played huge roles within the business starting it from the ground up, beginning with just a couple trucks and a lot of empty land. Through the years they created a strong recycling business which they recently took over ownership of in March of 2022. With big plans for the future ahead, we are excited to reintroduce E.R.T.S. to the community under new ownership and go above and beyond what we already do."
